Eric Knodel

Player Development and Skills Coach

Eric Knodel serves as the Player Development and Skills Coach for the West Chester Wolves, bringing years of professional experience to the role. Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 5th round of the 2009 NHL Draft, Eric played for several teams in the AHL, including the Toronto Marlies and Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He also had a strong presence in the ECHL, playing with the Orlando Solar Bears, Utah Grizzlies, and Cincinnati Cyclones, where he earned the ECHL Defenseman of the Year award in 2019. His college career at the University of New Hampshire included serving as captain and being named to the NCAA Hockey East Second Team All-Star in 2014.

In addition to his work with the Wolves, Eric is the Hockey Director for the Quakers Youth Program and manages PNY Arena. He plays a key role in developing young players, contributing to the growth of talent at various levels, including the NCDC, USPHL Premier, U18AAA/Academy, and U16AAA/Academy teams. Eric’s background as a player and his commitment to coaching help support the Wolves’ development efforts.
