His journey began in 2012 with the Fresno Monsters hockey team, where he rose to the role of Director of Operations by 2014. In 2021, James expanded his influence in the hockey world by joining the Ontario Jr. Reign and San Diego Sabers, key teams in the USPHL Pacific Division, and affiliates of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings.

In 2024, he relocated to the Philadelphia area to focus on media and content creation with ASM Hockey Group, where he played a key role in launching the West Chester Wolves and further developing the Atlanta Madhatters hockey franchises.

“In sports, the magic lies in uncovering the extraordinary and sharing those stories. I draw inspiration from local games, athletes, and everyday moments, weaving them into compelling narratives. With a passion for storytelling, a vivid imagination, and a logical perspective, I thrive on blending the familiar with the extraordinary. Even the smallest moments—an underdog’s victory, a fleeting gesture, or a quiet pause—can hold immense power. It’s incredible how much drama and emotion can unfold in a single game.”

Outside of his professional work, James is passionate about automotive culture and enjoys gaming, reading, and travel.
