Jake Slimm

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Jake Slimm grew up in Blackwood, NJ attending Highland Regional high school where he played both varsity soccer and ice hockey, as well as travel hockey for various teams in the NJYHL. Jake attended Neumann University where he played hockey on their ACHA team for 4 years. He captained the team while winning and obtaining multiple accolades such as being a 2 time All-Star, 2 time All-American, winning 2 conference championships, 2 regional championships, and making 2 National tournament appearances. After graduating with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration, Jake went on to play in the FHL (now FPHL) where he competed in the Commissioner’s Cup finals with the Danville Dashers.

After Jake’s playing career, he immediately began his coaching career, where he went back to Neumann to coach the ACHA team that he is still currently coaching on and off the ice, today. Striving to expand his coaching capabilities, Jake went on to become a nationally certified trainer and served as a strength coach at Elite Edge, in Malvern, for the last 2 years. He has a deep dedication to fitness and health, spending many hours each week in the weight room, jiu-jitsu gym, and yoga studio, while studying and reading to further grow his knowledge on the subject in order to help athletes grow and achieve their full potential.
