Rockets Fly By NCDC Wolves in Late Third Period Surge

The West Chester Wolves came up short in a hard-fought 4-3 loss to the Rockets Hockey Club. The Wolves struck twice in the first period with goals from Maddox Goudie and Emil Szepesi, but the Rockets responded with one of their own.

After a scoreless second period for the Wolves, the Rockets tied the game early in the third. Bryan Weissler put West Chester back on top midway through the final frame, but the Rockets answered with two late goals, including the game-winner at 16:26.

Griffin Davis made 33 saves in the loss, while the Wolves’ power play went 0-for-2. A tough battle, but West Chester will look to bounce back in their next matchup.
