The West Chester Wolves Premier team is making history in its inaugural season, and veteran goaltender AJ Golden has been a key part of that success. Golden (‘04/Medford, N.J.) has been named the USPHL Premier Atlantic Division Player of the Month for February after a stellar month between the pipes.
Golden played four games in February without suffering a single loss, allowing just three total goals while never giving up more than one in a game. He stopped 77 of 80 shots across those appearances, highlighted by a 26-save shutout against Brooklyn in what was his final regular-season junior game. Additionally, he came in for a relief effort on Feb. 19, stopping 9 of 10 shots.
A two-year Premier veteran, Golden closes his junior career with a 7-7-1-2 record and has been a steady presence for the Wolves in their first season.
