The West Chester Wolves are thrilled to announce that defenseman Liam O’Donoghue has been named the NCDC Atlantic Division Defenseman of the Week for his outstanding performance during games played Jan. 7-13, 2025.
O’Donoghue (‘04/Canonsburg, Penn.), a first-year NCDC player, delivered a stellar showing on Jan. 11, contributing a goal and an assist to lead the Wolves to victory against the Rockets Hockey Club. His game-winning goal highlighted his growing impact on the ice, showcasing his ability to step up in crucial moments.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound left-shot defenseman has shown steady development throughout his inaugural NCDC season. Over 23 games, O’Donoghue has registered six points (2 goals, 4 assists) and logged significant minutes, cementing himself as a key contributor to the Wolves' blue line. His physical presence, hockey IQ, and clutch scoring ability have made him a vital part of the team’s defensive corps.
