The West Chester Wolves Premier team earned an impressive 5-2 victory over the Rockets Hockey Club at Bridgewater Sports Arena. The Wolves showcased disciplined execution on both ends of the ice to secure the road win.
The Rockets opened the scoring with a power-play goal from Dylan Helmueller at 18:28, assisted by Steven Prevendar and Jack Cristiano. However, the Wolves quickly responded on the man advantage. Aidan Urie buried a power-play goal at 19:27, with Braydon Webster and Andrew Farley assisting to even the score at 1-1 heading into the intermission.
West Chester took control in the second frame, scoring three unanswered goals. Elliot Weiss struck first at 9:31, with assists from Max McKay and Yianni Tsatsoulis. Just under two minutes later, Markus Lunski extended the Wolves' lead at 11:17, capitalizing on feeds from Farley and Logan Gee. Alexander Couture rounded out the period’s scoring at 15:39, set up by Lunski and Farley, giving the Wolves a commanding 4-1 advantage.
The Rockets narrowed the deficit early in the third with a power-play goal from Spencer Kahler at 1:40. Despite the momentum shift, the Wolves’ defense, anchored by goaltender Elijah Wiltshire, held strong. Nathan Lavallee sealed the victory with a shorthanded empty-net goal at 18:02, assisted by Sean Quinn and Farley.
Andrew Farley had an outstanding night, contributing four assists and driving the Wolves’ offensive success. Elijah Wiltshire was a wall in net, stopping 47 of 49 shots to earn the win. The Wolves outperformed the Rockets despite a challenging 35 penalty minutes, demonstrating resilience and strong penalty-killing efforts.
