The West Chester Wolves NCDC team is excited to announce the signing of Dekkam Dallas, an 18-year-old defenseman from Carstairs, Alberta, for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
Dallas, who played youth hockey with Olds MHA, made his Wolves debut on January 5 against the PAL Jr. Islanders. Standing at 5’10” and 159 pounds, the right-shooting defenseman brings speed, energy, and versatility to the Wolves' lineup.
Head Coach R.C. Lyke expressed his enthusiasm for adding Dallas, "Dekkam is a dynamic player with great vision and hockey sense. He’s someone who will work hard every shift and create opportunities for his teammates. We’re thrilled to have him join the Wolves and look forward to seeing his impact on the ice."
While Dallas didn’t register a point in his first game, his two-way play and determination were evident, earning praise from the coaching staff.
Dallas joins a talented Wolves roster that is making a push for playoffs in the second half of the season. Fans can expect him to quickly become a key contributor as he continues to develop his game at the junior level.
