The West Chester Wolves NCDC coaching staff has named Emil Szepesi the recipient of the team's Top Forward Award for the 2024-25 season. Szepesi, a 6’1” left winger from the 2006 birth class, was a key offensive contributor for the Wolves, recording 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points in 49 games and notching six power-play goals.
“Emil is the type of player every coach wants in their lineup—skilled, competitive, and relentless on the puck,” said Head Coach & GM R.C. Lyke. “He’s been a leader for us all year, and this recognition is well deserved.”
Associate Head Coach & Assistant GM Tyler Casillo echoed those sentiments: “Emil brings a great mix of skill and grit. His ability to make plays in key moments was crucial for our team, and we’re excited to see where his game goes from here.”
Szepesi also made an impact in the Dineen Cup Playoffs, picking up an assist in two games for the Wolves' first-ever postseason appearance. His performance throughout the season has set the bar high for future Wolves forwards.
