The West Chester Wolves NCDC team has added David Dew as Director of Scouting. With experience in scouting, player development, and team management, Dew will play a key role in building the Wolves' NCDC roster for the 2025-2026 season.
Dew’s playing career included time with the Seacoast Spartans (Prep), Buffalo Regals (GOJHL), and Bryn Athyn College (NCAA D3). After transitioning into hockey operations, he worked as a regional scout in the USPHL Premier before becoming Director of Scouting for an NCDC Mountain Division team, helping guide them to a Mountain Division Championship and Organization of the Year honors.
Most recently, Dew was part of the USHL’s Fargo Force, contributing to their Clark Cup Championship and record-setting 50-win season in 2023-24. He is also the General Manager and part owner of the SISU Thunderbirds College Prep team and has helped over 60 players advance to the collegiate level through his MOLE Hockey program.
Dew is looking forward to joining the Wolves. “I am very excited to be landing in West Chester. Coach Casillo was responsible for placing me in NCAA D3 Hockey, and I have great trust in his process. I look forward to working alongside him. RC is highly respected and well-known in the industry, and I am eager to be part of such a prestigious organization from top to bottom.”
Wolves Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo believes Dew will be a great fit. “David has a great eye for talent and a strong work ethic. His ability to find and develop players will be a huge asset to our program.”
Head Coach R.C. Lyke added, “David knows what it takes to build a competitive team. His experience and knowledge will help us continue to grow and improve.”
With Dew leading scouting efforts, the Wolves continue to strengthen their foundation in their inaugural NCDC season.
