The West Chester Wolves are excited to announce that U18 Captain Chase Kerr has been called up to the club’s NCDC team. Kerr, 17, has been a standout for the Wolves' U18 program this season and will now join his older brother, Cole, at the next level.
Kerr has already seen action at both the Premier and NCDC levels this season, but this call-up further solidifies his organizational progress and development. The Saint John, New Brunswick native has been a leader on and off the ice, contributing 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 48 games at the U18 level, along with seven points in eight NAT1HL 18U games.
U18 Head Coach Brennan Luckanish praised Kerr’s dedication to the program, saying, “Chase has been the heartbeat of our team all season. His leadership and work ethic make him the perfect player to take this step. We couldn’t be prouder of him.”
Wolves NCDC Head Coach R.C. Lyke is eager to see Kerr continue his development at a higher level. “Chase has earned this opportunity. He’s a player who improves those around him, and we’re excited to see what he can bring to our group. Having him join his brother Cole is a great moment for the Kerr family and our organization.”
Kerr has already suited up for the NCDC team this season, scoring his first goal in his debut. With this latest call-up, he looks to make an even bigger impact as the Wolves push forward towards playoffs.
