Three West Chester Wolves Players Selected for 2025 NCDC All-Star Game

The West Chester Wolves’ inaugural NCDC season has been one for the books, and their hard work is paying off in a big way. Three standout players — forward Joshua Swan, defenseman Brayden Sprickman, and goaltender Griffin Davis — have been selected to represent the Wolves at the 2025 National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) All-Star Game. The event will take place on January 27-28 at the Foxboro Sports Center in Foxboro, Massachusetts, bringing together the league's top talent.

Associate Head Coach Tyler Casillo highlighted the significance of their selection: “Having three players chosen for the All-Star Game in our first NCDC season speaks volumes about the culture we’re building here in West Chester. Josh, Brayden, and Griffin exemplify what it means to compete at a high level, and their dedication sets the standard for our program.”

Joshua Swan (Forward, '04/Chateauguay, Que.)
Swan has been a consistent offensive force for the Wolves, tallying 21 points through 28 games to rank second in team scoring. A junior hockey veteran who joined West Chester from the EHL, Swan’s creativity and precision have made him a key playmaker.

Brayden Sprickman (Defenseman, '05/Erie, Pa.)
In his first season with the Wolves, Sprickman has quickly established himself as one of the league’s top defensemen. The Erie native is tied for fourth in league scoring with 21 points, a testament to his ability to contribute on both ends of the ice. Sprickman’s smooth skating and hockey IQ have been invaluable to the Wolves’ defensive corps.

Griffin Davis (Goaltender, '05/Nashua, N.H.)
Davis has been a brick wall between the pipes, giving the Wolves a steady foundation in net. With a stellar .941 save percentage, a 13-5-0-0 record, and ranking third in league wins, Davis has proven his mettle in crucial moments. A two-year NCDC veteran, his leadership and poise have been instrumental to the Wolves’ success.

Head Coach R.C. Lyke expressed his pride in the trio: “These three players have been instrumental in shaping our identity as a competitive team in our first year. Josh, Brayden, and Griffin bring leadership, talent, and determination to the rink every day. This recognition is well-deserved, and I know they will represent our organization with pride at the All-Star Game.”

The All-Star Game, a cornerstone of the NCDC calendar since its inception in the 2017-18 season, has showcased many players who later thrived at the collegiate and pro levels. This year’s event is particularly special, as it reunites the NCDC and USPHL Premier conferences in a combined All-Star showcase for the first time since 2021.
